Black Bruin Transfer Success
BBTS (Black Bruin Transfer Success) was created to build a bridge between these resources and black transfer students; the intent of this organization is to provide a space were black transfer students can share and learn about resources and overall opportunities available at UCLA to help them succeed in achieving their academic and professional goals. In conjuction with a community of like-minded individuals who are passionately committed to their own success, sharing strategies and tools, anything is possible. We understand as academics that we must be the change agents within ourselves and within our communities; it starts with us each individually. We must live as examples of the success and diversity within the Black community within and outside of UCLA. No one is perfect. It is our goal, as a community, to support one another in our journey of personal growth and community empowerment.
