Korean Student Union
Korean Student Union is a group of student body that work to provide greater social networking opportunities within the Korean community. We work not only within UCLA but also with other colleges in vicinity such as USC, UCI to promote interactions between different campuses. Korean Student Union mainly hosts social events not only to promote interconnectivity among students but also works to provide bonding relationships that could serve as an emotional sanction to students abroad from home. Because of such big student body of Korean students in UCLA, students often do not get to know and meet other Koreans regularly. Korean Student Union works to promote greater connectivity for people to meet new others and strives to contribute to socially healthier Korean community. By hosting events such as potluck and meet and greet at a large scale, we work to create social space in which students will feel at ease to join and entertain.
