Latinx Student Association at UCLA
The Latinx Student Association at UCLA strives to serve and represent the Latinx community at the University of California, Los Angeles. Our mission is divided into three pillars with an inter-sectional approach, a greater sense of respect and unity for all sexual and cultural backgrounds. Our first pillar is to develop future leaders through professionalism and leadership skills for career advancement in the private, public and nonprofit sectors. Our second pillar is civic engagement through social justice and community service on campus, our district and the D.C. area. Our last pillar is the promotion of cultural awareness through the arts, dance, and music. We aim to become the umbrella group for all Latinx students on campus to create a strong coalition and a more effective voice on campus!
