Hot Seat Club
We organize and facilitate Hot Seats. A Hot Seat is an event where a member volunteers themselves to be in the “hot seat,” leaving the rest of the members in the room free to ask them any question about themselves. Everything discussed within the Hot Seat is confidential. A Facilitator discusses rules and moderates the event. Hot seats allow us to foster a mindful environment on campus where people feel free to open up about themselves, and listen to others without fear of judgment or consequences. Inspired by Psychiatry 175 - Mindfulness Practice and Theory with Dr. Marvin Belzer.
