Film & Photography Society (FPS)

The Film and Photography Society (FPS) provides individuals passionate about multimedia a chance to come together, network, share knowledge, and produce high quality content. This offers an avenue for students to gain hands-on production experience, which is not easily accessible in a media saturated area like Los Angeles. While with most production companies, new employees would be subjected to the lowest positions possible, with FPS, students fill all the roles necessary, be it on a photoshoot or a film set. Thus, the club differs from the purely academic study of media because instead of writing essays, students learn from applying themselves.
