Classics Graduate Workshop at UCLA

The Classics Graduate Workshop is intended primarily as an informal vehicle for Classics graduate students to discuss academic projects with their colleagues. The goal is to provide a safe space for students to hear and share in-progress ideas without the pressure of a seminar, but with more structure than a casual conversation. Projects of nearly any shape are welcome, and each Workshop should permit a discussion that will both provide the presenter with specific suggestions, critiques, and ideas, as well as introduce the audience to the critical approaches, texts and ideas that their peers are working with.
