United Korean STEM Association
The purpose of United Korean STEM Association, shortly UKSA, is to provide a supportive atmosphere for in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields of study among Korean students in UCLA. The club also provides important academic connections. This is a more practical side of the club, and perhaps its most important function. Studying science at UCLA is challenging and students benefit from interacting with others who are working through similar challenges. The club will provide a great networking venue to connect you to other UCLA stem major alumni who are in professional school for medical, dental, pharmacy and other STEM related majors. This will not only help STEM majors to prepare for graduate school, but also provide guidance and direction for their future careers among Korean students. By equipping STEM students with the necessary knowledge and support systems at an early stage in their UCLA career, they will be better prepared for the rigors of South campus life.
