Social Media Consulting (SMC)

As technology integrates with our daily lives and identity, the use of social media and a desire for strong personal branding is on the rise. Every individual and business can utilize social media to share their unique identity and vision with an audience. This professional organization will help educate members on every step of the process of creating a strong social media presence and identity, from initially defining their identity and approach to creating content and mastering promotion strategies on different social platforms. The purpose of this organization shall be: to promote the understanding of social media and how to utilize it in the contemporary world: to professionally aid students in the umbrella process of social media: to unite students who want to help each other develop their social media brand and learn new skills from one another and: to help bring the social media expertise of the leadership board to new members who desire to learn and work at the skills. We will cover platforms like Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Snapchat and web spaces. A comprehensive overview from the vision to concrete output like ROI, analytic tracking and more. We will also teach people how to network successfully within their social niches. We will also partner with other creative, media and professional organizations on campus to encourage collaboration.
